Hello
I live in Newton Abbot and sing tenor. My voice range is low B up to high E flat. Years ago, I was a member of Burnley Municipal Choir, where I then sang soprano. At the moment I sing with Newton Abbot Community Choir where I sit with the men as they are sparse.
I also help The Avenue Church choir at Easter and Christmas; the men are thin on the ground there also!
Not being able to sight read, I therefore use a keyboard at home to practice the notes.
Hope this info will be of interest.
Regards
Susy
Hi Chordettes & 'Nooj'
Just to say that I am so glad my friend Jenny and I decided to join this course as we are loving it and if you can make a singer out of me after 6 weeks then 'job done'!!! I love the buzz on a Wednesday and would just like to thank everyone for being so friendly to us novice singers. They say you should follow your dream whatever age you are and I hope all our dreams come true. See you next week, Jayne Holmes x
Well done on your fabulous result at convention!! I'll have to come to the new venue and hear the new improved Chordettes soon. Hx

Hi.
Karen here - past member.
Just seen your webb site and listening to you sing whilst I am typing WOW! You have certainly gone from strength to strength. It is great to hear you sounding so good. I am so pleased for you all. If anything is coming up please can you let me know as I also have an avid follower of yours who is a customer of mine. I did not see any yellow squares on your calendar so I can not let him know. Once again I am so pleased for you all and as usual keep wishing you well. Don't forget if you want anything advertised, even for new members I will be happy to put posters up or have leaflets in the cafe.
Bye for now.
